Marjorie Mason has been painting professionally since graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1981, and painting as a student since the first grade. Although she has had a successful career in the fine arts, she often paints for the simple joy of creating with no other agenda for the finished artwork.
Her portfolio includes landscape oils, monotypes and giclee prints. Her plein air landscapes, painted on location all around Martha's Vineyard, have captured the attention of her collectors with their distinctive palette and feeling of light.
Ms. Mason is represented on the Vineyard by The Christina Gallery at 32 North Water Street in Edgartown.
